Stone Cut Memorial
Throughout Emma Currie's early life she has always had a fascination in Laura Secord. That eventually led to her adult life where she studied and wrote a book about her in 1900. Also, she had a 7 foot, stone cut monument made for her in 1901. The monument is located in Queenston Ontario and is made of granite. the stone cut memorial given to Laura in is dedicated to her for saving her husband’s life at the battle of Queenston Heights her part in the british victory at general brock on the crest of Queenston.
